We met on a dating site in 2008, became friends after we lost touch in August of 2015. We talked every once in awhile, started talking more in 2022. After 15 years he told me he still was in love with me by sending me a Nickelback song (I’d Come for you) I got in my car listened to the words and as tears began to stream down my face I knew exactly what he was saying. When he hugged me the next time we saw each other I knew all those times I felt like something was missing in the last 15 years it was him. We were each others missing pieces. We were finally home.

I went down to visit him for the weekend and he said he had a surprise. He told me we were driving to Springfield to go to the botanical garden. We took a few wrong turns and finally found the beautiful fountain that he was looking for with a gate around it. We walk up to the fountain and he starts talking about “Where’s the goldfish?” I was like Um there are none. He was said man you don’t see any, so I was all I’ll look. I sat down looked in the fountain, turned around and there he was with a beautiful ring and some very sweet words. Tears started streaming down my face, and of course I was so excited to say yes!!!! Now it’s our turn for our Happily Ever After….. See everyone in May!! ❤️
