The Rockefeller Christmas tree is decorated with more than 50,000 LED lights and the electrical wiring is longer than 8 kilometers! Turning on the lights of the Christmas tree is a real spectacle that is great to experience. In 2024, the tree lighting ceremony will take place December 4th and will stay lit into January! It’s the most wonderful time of the year so why not stop by the tree while you’re in New York! You’ll be able to take the LIRR train from Roslyn into NYC!
