We met in 2019 when two of our best friends started dating (they're now married). We both knew immediately that we would be in each others' lives forever as close friends. We don't remember exactly how this started, but for years we would text each other every day with updates that started with "Captain's Log" and then we would tell each other silly stories, life events, or something interesting we read or saw. Six years later, we both started to see that there was more between us than friendship. When Victoria realized she was in love with Travis, she told him, but she also said she couldn't risk losing his friendship. Our friendship has always been one of the most important relationships in both our lives. Travis responded: "I love you as much as it is possible to love another person, and nothing could ever happen that would make me love you less than I always have." Captain's Log: We're in love with each other. When we started telling our friends, no one was surprised. In fact, several of our closest friends told us they had said for years that we were clearly in love with each other. It took us a little time to discover what was obvious to everyone else, because we always knew that it would change everything about our lives. We remain humbled and grateful for every day we get together. It is the biggest honor of our lives to love each other fully, irrevocably, and as much as is humanly possible.
