HER: In the process of closing old doors and opening new ones- I found my love. Travis found me actually. I fought him HARD. I wasn’t ready to see & experience a genuine, sweet, loving, kind, HONEST man with no motives- who didn’t want anything from me but me. Oh but when I did give in- it became the sweetest thing. I have a bestfriend who pours into me as much as I pour into him, who never lets my cup go empty, who loves me at all phases, is an incredible communicator, my mirror, & what I now know is my greatest love. HIM: Before I met Tierra, I experienced a few life altering situations that made me lose hope. One being my mothers cancer diagnosis. For the past 3 years, I’ve been caring for my mom and her every need. This left little room for dating. No one was special enough for me to share my time & take attention from my mom... ...Until I met Tierra. I saw her, dm’d her & told her I saw the woman she’d become. I asked for her number & we spoke for 3 hrs the first night. The next day we met for dinner & talked for another 3 hrs. A week later she moved to Miami. But I didn’t care because I knew I wanted her. The rest is history. HOW HE ASKED: We went for a walk on the water in Miami & he asked me to start recording for my instagram reels. He asked me to remind him how we met along with a series of questions. I answered his questions in silly ways while recording the whole thing. Once we’d walked a little bit & he was at his “mark”, he told me “you know I’m madly in love with you & i wanna spend my life with you. What do you think?” Awkwardly i said, “so we just have to choose each other then”. He said do you choose me? Of course i said yes & he said “because i choose you too. You’re my best friend. Hug me” and as i hugged him, he told me to reach lower. I did & i felt the ring box in his belt & GASPED! As he dropped on one knee, he said “will you marry me?” I said yes and hugged him before he could even put the ring on…. Now we’re marrying our bestfriends⚡️
