We first met in high school through two of our best friends who were dating, and even though they tried to set us up back then, the timing just wasn’t right. We loosely stayed in touch over the years, just an occasional text here and there, until after Travis finished boot camp and got stationed in Pensacola, FL- only 4 hours from where Sydney was in college at The University of Alabama. During Sydney’s sophomore year spring break, she and her friends stopped at her family house in Pensacola on their way to Panama City Beach and invited Travis and a friend over to hangout and play some games. After that night, we knew we had a connection. Two months and a couple visits later, we officially started dating. While Sydney was finishing her degree, Travis got stationed in Jacksonville, FL. After 19 months of long distance, we were finally able to move in together. Travis proposed in March, a very intimate and special moment for us! We’re so blessed to live this life together and are so excited for our next chapter!
