Our Love.

Here and now❤️

Love is an action. It requires involvment and active participation, love has to be earned and fought for. We met each other during a time when LOVE required alot of action. Our story began with over coming fear, learning how to let go, learning to trust and to be trusted, overlooking the opinions of others, learning how to pray for one another, learning to forgive and be forgiven, we learned to be patient with each other, and through alot of prayer, we discovered that with God, anything and everything is possibe. Our beginning was full of involvment and active participation. However, God had a beautiful plan, and His plan involved love, OUR LOVE. A love that broke through barriers, a love that embraced every flaw, and every imperfection, a love that brought peace to our souls and joy in our hearts, a love so remarkable, words cannot describe it. OUR LOVE was created by God. And it is HIM who deserves all the glory for bringing us together to become one. Thank you for being apart of our amazing jouney.

Picnics and proposals

7/19/2018

Travis and I both work quite a distance from each other, and I would always tell him how how much I’d love for him to pick me up from work one day and take me to lunch. So being the super sweet guy he is, he tells me to figure out a day that I’m not super busy, and he would pick me up and take me to lunch! And of course I jumped on that quickly. So the day arrives, Travis walked into my office, greeted me with a bouqet of flowers and escorted me to his car. As we began to drive off, it dawned on me that we never discussed where we were eating, so I asked Travis where we were going? and he replied “oh were going to try something new” so of course I’m all in and super excited. So we continued to drive and ended up at this beautiful park. I looked at Travis and I asked him what we were doing there? And he said were going to have a picnic At the park. And being the hopless romantic I am, I was instantly overjoyed. We found the perfect location to eat, Travis pulled out a handmaid lunch that he prepared, and we sat there enjoying the warm July sun, a turkey and cheese sandwhich with my favorite chips. After we finished eating, Travis suggested we go for a walk, so off we went and about half way he asked me to close my eyes, he took my hand, and we began walking again. As we walked, he begins reflecting on our relationship, and saying the most beautiful things to me. We finally stopped walking, (I’m still confused) he turns me around( eyes still closed) he tells me to open my eyes, and there he was on one knee, asking me to be his wife!!!! And without hesitation I said yes!!!!!
