It was a dirty pint glass that created a spark between Savannah & Travis. The summer 2023 Savannah made a move back to Moose Lake, MN after a decade of travel, horse adventures, and building a resume to tackle any project. As an owner of the Moose Lake Brewing, Travis was spending a hot summer day dreaming about fishing while helping out his employees sling pint glasses and keeping the flow of beer lovers happy. That same day, Savannah was stepping in to work a swing shift behind the bar to also help out a busy brewery day. "..presents for you" said Travis as he brushed up against Savannah's shoulder handing over a pile of dirty pint glasses for her to wash. Eye contact was made, a smile exchanged, and Savannah had never been so excited to wash a dirty beer glass in her life. Travis stayed after work for a beer and, to be assumed, supervise this new cute pint glass washer...Later that week Savannah reached out to Travis on social media hoping he would say yes to spending an afternoon together. A first date took place and it was an instant feeling that they both wanted to spend more time together. On that first date, Savannah received a phone call from a puppy adoption agency to receive news she was selected (after a long application process) to take in a cute little blue-eyed cattle dog named Zucchini. The second date was when both Travis and Savannah had the "this is the one" feeling. Travis took Savannah and puppy Zucchini out to the lake for a summer sunset to test out how well this cute little ball of fur could swim. That evening was when a first kiss led to goodnight texts, follow up dating adventures, and dog training. Two years went by of Travis allowing Savannah to paint and decorate the walls of his man cave home, planting yearly gardens together, going on trips, spending tons of time with family (a favorite), finding a reason to laugh on all the good and bad days, Travis sitting in the stands cheering on his favorite cheer coach, Savannah adding dents into the truck, hours as co-chefs in the kitchen, lake days fishing, hanging out with friends at the brewery, hosting parties, and adventures with Zucchini...it was time. July 13th, 2025 on a family trip in northern MN at Sha Sha Resort, Travis got down on one knee to ask Savannah to spend the rest of their lives together. The moment was so beautiful with Mike, Janet, MJ, Justin, and Zucchini there to witness the tears of joy and pure overflow of love and excitement. Suddenly, they knew they were each other's everything and they were home.
