Where is the wedding?

Answer

The actual wedding ceremony will be held at Hacienda Siesta Alegre as well as the reception following. We will provide a pick-up and drop-off to the venue on the day of the wedding, as it is about 30 min outside of the city.

Answer

Yes, both events will take place at the same location so no transportation needed between.

Wedding Day attire?

Answer

What does "Black Tie Optional" attire mean?

Answer

Black-tie optional means guests are invited to dress in formal evening attire, but full black-tie is not required. Tuxedos and floor-length gowns are welcome, while suits with ties and elegant cocktail or long dresses are equally appropriate. The goal is polished, sophisticated, and celebratory.

Where are guest staying?

Answer

We have a room block at Apartments by Marriot - Casa Costera in Isle Verde Beach. If you are not staying at this hotel we suggest guest stay in and around San Juan (Isle Verde Beach, Loiza, Santurce), this is central to old San Juan and beaches as well as the airport.

Is the venue in San Juan?

Answer

No it is not, it is about 30 min outside of the city in a town on the edge of the rainforest called Rio Grande. We would provide the transportation to and from the venue because of this. Also to avoid any guest driving under the influence.

Are children allowed?

Answer

No children are not allowed at this venue, they have a rule that all guest must be 12 years of age or older.

Do I need a rental car?

Answer

If you are staying at the hotel where the room block is or in and around San Juan I would say no. It is about a 5 minute uber from the airport, and 10-15 minute uber to anywhere around the city. Now if you wish to explore other parts of the island, then yes, you would want a rental car.
