We recommend flying into PDX

I highly recommend using google flights to track prices for your favorite itineraries! Typically I choose two or three flight plan options and track them over time, google will notify you when there are major price increases or decreases. Anything under $400 from the Louisville/Cincinnati/Chicago area is a good deal.

Rental Car

PDX Car Rentals

There are lots of car rental options available at PDX but we've found pricing is typically best if you book using a Costco membership! Hood River is about an hour east of Portland so you'll need a car to share with your party!

Hotel

Hotels/AirBnB

Hood River has over 70 wedding venues and we're getting married on Labor Day weekend so unfortunately, we were unable to block a hotel. However, there are a number of Airbnb options at a reasonable price. We recommend sharing a house with a group (if you aren't sure who is invited - please reach out and we can connect you with other folks needing housing). If you prefer a hotel, the Hood River Hotel is historic and charming but it is not air-conditioned. For a more traditional hotel option, there is a Best Western and Hampton Inn. If you are unable to find a place to stay in Hood River, Troutdale and the Cascade Locks are both a reasonable driving distance away.
