I had recently finished graduate school. Travis had recently moved to the area to be closer to his family after living up north for a bit after graduate school. We found each other on the dating app, Bumble, and agreed to meet for a first date at Mankato Brewery. After our first date, Trav said “we’ll keep in touch” which sounded like when you interview and they have no plans of offering you the job haha. So I was surprised when after our first date, Trav visited me while I was working at a pizza shop. I thought he was being sweet to bike all the way to see me ~ little did I know at that time how obsessed with biking he is! After a few months of dating, we decided to rent a place together… in March of 2020. Now, we can say our relationship has survived a global pandemic, purchase of our first home, training a dog, major back surgery, switching jobs, and so much more.
