It started with Hinge… and here we are. We met for dinner and Trav — quite possibly the strongest Aussie man Pinky had ever met — rocks up in his Hilux, which made Pinky go woahhhh. Naturally, he took her camping, and now it’s become our favourite thing to do together: sitting by the fire, reading a book, swimming in the river, and Trav trying to fish (Pinky’s only ever seen him catch something the size of a peanut). Not long after we started dating, we decided to dive straight into life together — buying a house, then a car, and slowly (but surely) accumulating some very real adult debt along the way. With our favourite dog, Jasper, we’ve become one little family living life together. From dates, sleepovers, travels, and many adventures, we’ve helped each other grow and (most of the time) bring out the best in each other. We push each other’s buttons, challenge one another, chase each other around the house, and occasionally wrestle when Pinky claims she’s stronger — all before putting the house to bed so Pinky can fall asleep peacefully (clean house = calm Pinky). Somewhere between all of that, we’ve built a life that feels easy, supportive, and genuinely ours. And now… we’re getting married (!!)
