We had been on two dates before this one, we knew we definitely liked each other to make a third date! We had tons in common and really enjoyed each others company. By the third date some of the nerves had wore off and we were able to be our crazy goofy selves. Neither one of us can remember what our date consisted of, but we attribute that to thoroughly enjoying each others company, everything else around us just disappeared. We don't remember where we were going but we were just talking and enjoying each others time when out of nowhere Travis started singing to me "You are my sunshine." In that specific moment a rush of emotions flooded me at the time I didn't tell him cause I would have sounded a tad bit crazy lol. But my mom who is my very best friend sang that to me as a child often, a fond memory of my childhood that I would never forget and in that very moment I knew Travis loved me and I loved him. No we hadn't said the "L" word yet but we both knew. A few months later we were reminiscing on our first dates and mentioned that moment to Travis and he said that's the first time I ever sang to a girl and idk why I chose that song but I loved you in that moment too! How we met may have not been the most romantic thing ever (Thanks online dating), but our time together has been nothing but romantic. We thought we would share our little story to reminisce and give a little insight of our first loving moments!
