What time is the ceremony?

Answer

5-5:30pm. Please arrive with enough time to settle in since the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. Out of respect for the ceremony, late arrivals will be asked to wait until the ceremony has ended before entering.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional. We'd love to see our family and friends get all dressed up for our big day. For the men, a tuxedo is encouraged but not required. A sharp, dark suit (black, navy or charcoal) is an acceptable alternative. For the ladies, a floor length gown is the safest option, but a sophisticated cocktail dress or formal midi-length dress is also acceptable.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors on the patio behind the clubhouse. Our cocktail hour will take place outside on the rooftop terrace, under a tent. The reception will be inside the building, but our guests will have access to the outdoor area throughout the night too.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have a wedding block at neighboring hotels nearby. Please check the travel section for more information and links for booking.

Will there be transportation? / Where should I park?

Answer

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided from the hotel to the venue, with return service to the hotel near the conclusion of the evening. For those who prefer to drive, there is ample parking available on site at Captain Club.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests that have been formally invited on the wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be notated on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a night off and enjoy yourselves!

Can I take photos during the wedding?

Answer

We're having an unplugged ceremony so please keep your phones tucked away until the reception. After that, please snap away and share the fun! We will have a QR code at the wedding where we encourage our guests to share their photos from the night with us.

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know about any dietary restrictions/food allergies in the notes when you RSVP so that we can accommodate you.

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by no later than July 1st, 2026 so we can finalize all the details. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
