We have Arrowhead Auto Body to thank for us meeting. I started as the receptionist at the body shop on March 13th 2017. Travis's mother interviewed me and we still believe she might have had a plan all along! ;) I worked at the front desk for a couple months before a new restaurant opened up in Duluth. I practically begged Travis to take me to dinner at the new place. He finally agreed and our first date was May 30th 2017 at The Crooked Pint! We have one or two more dates before things started to get serious and now here we are!

Travis and I booked a vacation to see the black hills this last fall. As soon as we booked it we had our hearts set on a big hike to the top of Black Elk Peak in South Dakota. But because one thing has to go wrong on every vacation we take, when we got there we had found out that the trail was closed. We asked a park ranger if there was any way we could get to the top. They told us we could hike it from the north side but it was 12 miles round trip. We both agreed it was important to us and we wanted to do it. We woke up that day at 5:30 am and headed to the trailhead. After 6 miles up the mountain, we hit another road block and found out the trail was closed from the north side as well. Bummed, we started our trek back down but stopped for photos and a snack at the second highest lookout. Travis set the camera to video and as I started to pose for a picture he popped the question!
