Wedding Party

Nora Jannenga

Maid of Honor

I met my Maid of Honor in college, and from day one she became family. We lived together, survived life’s chaos side by side, and even co-parented two cats—one of which famously broke my Lego set (and she lied to cover for the cat… which is how I knew she was a real one). We also spent years coaching Farwell cheer together, creating memories I’ll cherish forever. She’s been my constant, my partner in crime, and I truly can’t imagine this day—or my life—without her standing next to me.

Savanna Steffens

Matron of Honor

I met my Matron of Honor when I was three years old, and we were best friends until sixth grade, when we famously had a dramatic friend breakup. We didn’t speak again until we were seniors, but somehow picked right back up where we left off. Now we’re inseparable (and admittedly a little intolerable) once again. Having her stand by my side on this day feels like a full-circle moment I couldn’t imagine without her.

Kaitlyn Howard

Bridesmaid

I met my bridesmaid Kaitlyn when I was three years old, the day she followed me straight into my house—leaving my dad very confused about where the extra child came from. From that moment on, she’s been a constant in my life. She’s been my rock, my best friend, and someone who has always shown up for me, even during times when I wasn’t the best friend in return. I’m incredibly grateful for her and so honored to have her standing beside me on this day.

McKenzie Mcdonald

Bridesmaid

I met McKenzie while joining the Catholic Church, and she has been a constant, kind presence in my life ever since. She leads with her heart, offers friendship so freely, and has played a meaningful role in helping me grow my relationship with God. I’m so grateful for her steady support and honored to have her stand beside me on this day.

Julia Schlagel

Bridesmaid

Julia is my cousin, and growing up we constantly fought over little things—like who was the favorite grandchild. Over the past few years, though, we’ve grown incredibly close. What started as childhood rivalry has turned into a friendship I truly cherish, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side on this special day.

Kendra Hershey

Bridesmaid

Kendra is my future sister-in-law and welcomed me into the family with open arms from the very beginning—she even let me message her for fashion advice before we had officially met, ahead of my first family wedding. She has always been a listening ear and has never failed to celebrate Travis and my relationship and engagement. I’m so grateful to have her in my life and honored to have her stand beside me on this day.

Anna Hungerford

Bridesmaid

Anna is my other future sister-in-law and has always been kind and welcoming to me. She was such a big help with dress shopping and has made me feel completely at home in the family. I’m so excited to celebrate alongside her as I join this wonderful family.
