Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Jessica Marr and Travis Alexander
We couldn't celebrate this special day without our amazing bridesmaids and groomsmen! Allow us to introduce this wonderful group of people:

Kimya Cornelius

Maid of Honor

I met Kimi in our freshman year of high school during our shared PE class where we would walk the mile-run test, so we'd be within talking distance. One time, she pulled a wrapped PopTart out of her sweatshirt and offered some to me - true friendship. We really became closer throughout our senior year. We would have sleepovers, write guitar songs, go longboarding, and explore the small suburban world that we knew. Our bond only grew stronger over the years. I know that she is always just a text or phone call away when I need support, advice or even an audience for a silly joke.

Doug Moore

Best Man

I met Doug hanging out at Coffee Bean with all my other friends as we did on a regular basis. He knew most of the people I hung out with through high school and by proxy, I got to know him too. We spent a lot of our early friendship returning to that same Coffee Bean almost daily to hang out and would play Cribbage and Backgammon for hours on end. Doug and I shared a fair amount of similar interests but his charismatic personality would help break me out of my comfort zone to explore more adventurous hobbies and passions.

Sarah Prom

Bridesmaid

Sarah is one of my longest-standing friends, going back all the way to elementary school. She lived right next door to me growing up, so I could talk to her in my own backyard whenever we wanted. Some of my fondest memories of Sarah revolve around the sleepovers we had (along with another bridesmaid of mine, Eden) just goofing around and laughing. As teenagers, we would go on spontaneous adventures and experience new things. We also enjoyed the same music, so I'd always have a concert-buddy if I needed one. She has seen me in different phases of my life and has always been there for me.

Tim Hart-Jacobs

Groomsman

I met Tim many years ago when we were both in Cub Scout, the precursor to Boy-Scouts. He was a part of my brother's age group and we knew of each other but didn't hang out at the time. Jumping forward 10-12 years I ran into Tim while he was working at a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf at the Orange Mall near my house, where I would also eventually get hired, and we became great friends. We both shared a passion for video games and comics that eventually led to late night gaming sessions lasting until early into the mornings. After reconnecting all those years after first meeting, Tim became one of my closest friends through the years.

Eden Harder

Bridesmaid

Eden is another long-time friend of mine that also goes back to elementary school. She lived in the same cul-de-sac as me (and another bridesmaid of mine, Sarah), so we saw each other a lot. We played core childhood games together like Murder in the Dark and Red Light Green Light, watched oldies TV Shows like Mr. Bean and I Love Lucy, and created an imaginary world of Ty Beanie Babies. As we grew older, she was the voice of reason and offered me more perspective. She's accepted me in all of my different phases of life and I know that she will continue to be there for me in the years ahead of us.

Brian Duncan

Groomsman

I met Brian my senior year of high school through a friend of a friend. We would hang out on occasion but after graduating we sorta lost touch for a few years. A day, randomly enough when I was walking out of a Jamba Juice next to a Coffee Bean, I heard my name called out and was looking around very confused to find Brian sitting in a group of people in front of the coffee shop waving me over. I went over and we caught up a little and he introduced me to his friends that were all there. That moment changed my life because all of those people there, as well as some others I would meet later on, would end up welcoming me to their group where I would reconnect with Tim and also meet Doug.
