If you want to come early, Mardi Gras is the weekend before with parades from Thursday, Feb 12th- Tuesday, Feb 17th. "Fat Tuesday" is a celebrated holiday and the most special day of the year (aside from our wedding). Expect parades and partying all day but public places will be closed. Let us know if you are thinking of arriving early for this!
