Shelby
Maid of Honor
Shelby is one of Briana's younger sisters. She is currently attending the University of Minnesota. Shelby is an avid and talented dancer and enjoys doing diamond dots, bullet journaling, reading, and doing puzzles in her free time. Her and Travis have a shared love for T-Rex's and as of 07/09/2020 have an outstanding Snapchat streak of 1,367 days. It's safe to say that Travis has become the brother she always wanted! Briana and Shelby perform a pretty amazing rendition of 99 Luft Balloons on Just Dance, but don't count on seeing it performed on the wedding day; it's exhausting! Shelby is a bit nervous about being responsible for straightening out my dress during the ceremony but I am confident she will do just fine with this along with her other MOH responsibilities!
Gunnar
Best Man
Gunnar is Travis' childhood friend and is basically his brother from another mother. Travis and Gunnar spent hours with each other as kids going to the skate park, going on the river, riding dirt bikes, playing video games, and running around Brice Prairie. They got into plenty of trouble together. Travis and Gunnar both ran track and did powerlifting together in high school. Gunnar is now a Staff Sergeant in the military and has been through one deployment. He has an adorable little girl, Sage and a little boy on the way in October! Even though Gunnar isn't in the area often, him and Travis make sure to get together when he is home.
Hailey
Bridesmaid
Hailey is one of Briana's younger sisters. She is a beautiful singer and enjoys participating in show choir at school. Hailey has an obvious passion for animals. She loves horse back riding and hanging out with her pup Koda! Hailey and Travis like to talk about Minecraft and other video games which Briana is completely clueless about. Briana and Hailey both enjoy going on the river in the summer to go tubing or fishing! She has an amazing bond with her cousins Addi and Maggie. You will probably find her dancing the night away with them on the wedding night and don't be surprised if the other kids gravitate towards her. She is a natural with the kiddos!
John
Groomsman
John went to high school with Briana and Travis. John and Travis were roommates in college in the dorms and in a little house behind Rudy's in La Crosse, where John occasionally had to put his EMT skills to use on drunk people that would get hurt in front of their place. John and Travis enjoy having lengthy political debates and talking about guns. He is a hard-worker and great guy and uses these qualities as a doctor.
Arley
Bridesmaid
Arley is Travis' older sister. She is married to Derek, one of the groomsmen and is an amazing mom to their two kids, Maya and Ryan. Travis, Briana, and Arley enjoy watching The Walking Dead together, though it has been more and more difficult to coordinate their busy schedules to keep up on it! Arley LOVES wine and Bob Marley. Arley and Derek are die-hard Packer fans so there's always plenty of rivalry between them and Travis and Briana when the Packers play the Vikings. We still love them though! Arley is hard-working and always willing to help others!
Derek
Groomsman
Derek is Travis' brother in-law. He is married to Arley, one of the bridesmaids and is a great dad to their two kids, Maya and Ryan. Derek fought in the National Guard in Iraq. He enjoys hunting. Derek is a handy-man and has helped Travis with projects around our house. Derek thinks that he is the arm wrestling champion over Travis... Arley and Derek are die-hard Packer fans so there's always plenty of rivalry between them and Travis and Briana when the Packers play the Vikings. We still love them though! Derek is a smart-butt, but we still think he's pretty great!
Taylor
Bridesmaid
Taylor is Travis' younger sister. She has an adorable son, Hunter. Taylor is incredibly talented with hair and make-up and pursues this by working at a salon (hit her up if you need a hair cut!) Travis says that Taylor always tried to be like him growing up and still does. Taylor is a free spirit and she officially has more tattoos than Travis!
Joe
Groomsman
Joe went to school at Holmen with Briana and Travis. Joe and Travis played football together and did powerlifting. They both competed at Nationals for powerlifting and broke records together. Joe is a huge Packer and Badger fan. Travis went to his first and only college football game with Joe and his family. Joe is now a teacher in Bruce, WI which is where Jake and Paul grew up (small world).
Nichole
Bridesmaid
Briana and Nichole met through Paul and Travis' friendship! Paul and Nichole have been our double date friends and share so many interests with us. Briana and Nichole have bonded over laughing at the ridiculous man things that Paul and Travis do together. Nichole is also basically Ranger's second dog mom. She loves Disney like Briana, but also enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons with Travis and the guys. Nichole is funny, supportive, and caring. I know she will be there whenever I need a friend and will keep applying her nursing skills to answer Travis' endless medical questions with patience!
Paul
Groomsman
Travis met Paul through Jake and they became good friends. Paul works as a Software Engineer and likes rock music and craft beer. Him and Travis speak their own language that Nichole and Briana typically don't understand. He plays Dungeons and Dragons with Travis and is also definitely as nerdy as Travis. Paul is an avid movie-goer and knows a ridiculous amount of movie stats. Be sure to find him on the wedding night and ask him what the highest grossing film was for any year and he will have the answer!
Gabbey
Bridesmaid
Gabbey is Briana's friend from high school. Briana and Gabbey did gymnastics together and spent hours inside and outside of the gym with each other! Gabbey has moved all over the country since high school: from Wisconsin to Alaska, to Texas, back to Wisconsin, back to Texas and back to Wisconsin again and through it all Briana and Gabbey have stayed in touch! Although they don't see each other often, every time they do it's like they hadn't been apart!
Jacob
Groomsman
Jacob and Travis met in college when they both had to re-take Calc 1. He helped Travis sneak the engagement ring in his backpack on the trip to California and got the video of the proposal! Jake likes rock music and craft beer, and him and his family make amazing maple syrup! Jake and Travis play Dungeons and Dragons together so he might just be as nerdy as Travis. He works as a Support Engineer at Sergeant Laboratories with Travis. Oh and ladies... Jake is single and ready to mingle!
Addi
Flower Girl
Addi is Briana's cousin. Her favorite color is purple! Addi enjoys singing, swimming, and tickling people's feet! She loves the movie Frozen and her favorite character is Elsa. Addi is very excited to be a flower girl for the first time!
Ryan
Ring Bearer
Ryan is Travis' nephew. Ryan enjoys playing hockey and rough-housing with Uncle Travis. He also has an impressive knowledge of dinosaur names. Ryan is one of the sweetest boys you'll ever meet!
Maggie
Flower Girl
Maggie is Briana's cousin. She enjoys dancing and playing with dolls. Maggie loves Frozen like her sister Addi but her favorite is Ana. She is adorable and spunky and will likely be entertaining to watch go down the aisle as a flower girl!
Hunter
Ring Bearer
Hunter is Travis' nephew. He likes to play with his cousins Maya and Ryan. He loves fruit snacks just like his Uncle Travis. Hunter is sweet, curious, and loves to help!
Maya
Junior Bridesmaid
Maya is Travis' niece. She loves gymnastics and Star Wars and holds the record for the pacer test at school! Maya writes the best stories! She also loves being flipped upside down and tossed around by Uncle Travis and is an energetic and loving girl!
