Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We would love for all of our guests to have their partner or a guest alongside them if desired! Please let us know if we missed a plus one for you.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We adore your little ones! All children are welcome at the ceremony. We are only able to accommodate children in the bridal party and those of immediate family at our cocktail hour and reception. Children's names will be indicated on your invitation and your RSVP if part of this group. For those leaving kids at home, we encourage you to use this as a date night! For those with kids joining, please stay with them at all times for their safety. All babies under 1 years are welcome, up to parents' discretion and if able to sit on mom or dad's lap.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is cocktail attire.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding mass will begin promptly at 1:30 PM. We ask that you please arrive by 1:15 PM.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Several parking lots are available at the Cathedral Basilica including directly behind the Cathedral, at the corner of Lindell and Taylor, and via angle parking along Maryland Avenue, behind the Cathedral. Handicapped parking is available in the lot directly behind the Cathedral. Complementary valet is available at Meadowbrook Country Club. Please pull into the circle drive to utilize. Readily accessible parking is also available. We highly encourage use of Uber/Lyft if planning to drink.

Question

Is the wedding ceremony a full Catholic mass?

Answer

It is! We are so excited to celebrate our love for each other and God's love for us. Programs will be available at the mass to provide context to various parts of our wedding mass.

Question

Is there a break between the ceremony and cocktail hour/reception?

Answer

Yes! We encourage you to get some rest, some spend time with family/friends, and/or visit a local pub or restaurant. Some recommendations close to our reception are Circle 7 Ranch (14412 Clayton Rd) and Cleaver & Cocktail (13360 Clayton Rd).

Question

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please note your allergy and/or restriction on your RSVP and alternative meal options will be available.
