We met in the Fall of 2018 at the University of North Dakota. I was walking through Wilkerson Dining Hall but the stir fry was not what caught my attention that night. A beautiful and confident young woman wearing a UND tennis shirt walked past me and I thought, "Tall...?, Athlete...? I need to find out more." Allie went on to invite me to a double date at the movies the following week and we found immediate chemistry. She came to all of my football games, I went to all of her tennis matches, and we spent the time in between doing everything together as we wrote the beginning of our love story in cold Grand Forks, North Dakota.
