Our first date was 01/18/20 he made me dinner. Then we watched movies and caught up on what time robbed us of. Regardless we both felt chemistry. So I was inviting him to everything I had planned and he was doing the same. Thus, in the matter of a week, I asked him what's up? Am I your girlfriend, we just seeing where things go, etc. Well, Travis in his roundabout way of saying yes just says yes I like you 🤦‍♀️ and I bluntly say that's not what I'm asking you. Then he says yeah I wanna go out with you. So I then being a smart-ass say so are you asking me out? This man did have to go through a lot before I said yes to date him. However, there is no other man I'd love to spend the rest of my life with.

~ Alli: When Travis and I first met, I had no idea just how sweet and caring this man was because of how shy he was (he still is to a point), but on 1/18/20, we decided to have our first date. However, things went so well on the first date that we started making plans with each other, months in advance. Therefore I had to know what was going on. So a week later, on 1/25/20, after asking Travis if I was his girlfriend or if he liked me like that, We made things official. He then met my mom & dad on Kansescity Superbowl Sunday and brought tears to my mama's eyes; it was soon after that I knew I wanted to marry this man! ~ Travis: One day Alli was asking me. Well, if anyone knows her, not so bluntly about how I feel about her after we started dating now. Of course, I wanted to tell her I was falling in love with her but, anyone who knows me knows I am not vulnerable unless I know it's a sure thing and well, love, love is tricky. So I gave her my answer, which was my way of saying it, and well, Alli being Alli said, "that's not what I'm asking you, do you think you more than like me" or you know something like that. Uh, what was I supposed to say? I wanted to scream I am in love with you, and I couldn't, so again Alli and her directness said, "because I think I am falling in love with you." Relief came over me, and I could finally tell me too, but she beat me to the opportunity because she then said, "no, I am in love with you." That's the moment when she said those exact words, and I fell head over heels in love with her. Then the way this woman's mind works on how she plans, budgets, has a spreadsheet for nearly everything, and wanted to wait to marry me, that's when I knew I wanted to marry her.
