Right down the street from our house. This is where the shuttle will pick up/drop off people the day of. Booking directly through the website is significantly more expensive; for this reason, we did not reserve a block of rooms through them. Recommend booking through 3rd party travel websites for best savings.

A shuttle will be running back and forth from the venue and hotel. It's about a 30 minute ride one way. First shuttle arrives at the hotel at 4:15. The first departs the venue at 7:00. The last shuttle leaves the venue at 9:30 pm.

Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA)

There are several airports to choose from in the local area. SBA is our preference for ease. It's about a 45 minute drive from Santa Barbara to Lompoc

San Luis Obispo (SBP)

SLO is a fun beach town with lots to do! It's about a 45 minute drive from SLO to Lompoc depending on traffic.

LAX

LAX is probably the most cost effective and versatile option in terms of flights and rental cars, but it is about a 3 hour drive depending on traffic from LA to Lompoc.

Vandenberg Gate Information

The closest gate to Lompoc (the Lompoc Gate) is only open for regular traffic from 1200-1800. The Santa Maria gate is open 24hrs and next to the visitor's center.

Base Access-Action Required by 1 May

If you need a base pass, please let Alex and Travis know as soon as possible (NLT 1 May) so we can ensure you have one. Vandenberg often requires a minumim lead time of 3 business days to process base passes. I cannot get a waiver for this requirement. The requirements change often for what type of identification is required. Please refer to the website for the most current data.
