Festivities begin on Friday evening, so please plan on arriving before then. If you'd like more time to explore the town of Jackson, Teton Village, or the national parks, arriving before Friday may not be a bad idea.... and we don't blame you. If you arrive on Thursday, let us know! Hike, anyone? The bride and groom will be staying in town from Thursday, August 21 through Tuesday, August 26.
Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) If you aren't driving, we recommend guests fly into the Jackson Hole Airport, located about 10 miles north of downtown Jackson.
If you plan on flying into Jackson, we highly recommend renting a vehicle on your own or with a group. While transportation will be coordinated to and from the wedding venue on Saturday, it will be helpful to have your own means of travel as you explore the surrounding areas. Please also note that while Jackson Hole does have ride share options (Uber, Lyft, etc.), we have noticed that they are scarce.
Jackson in the late summer is absolutely beautiful. The average temperature in late August ranges between 73 and 81 degrees, with temperatures cooling off in the evening (as low as 40 degrees). Remember to pack layers!
The ceremony and reception will both take place outdoors - rain or shine!
I'm so glad you asked. We will be having a mix of charcuterie, salad, and artisan organic pizzas made onsite. Plus, cake, of course. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP.
The dress code will vary throughout the weekend. As noted above, temperatures vary throughout the day, so please plan on bringing layers for evening events. Rob & Tay's Rodeo Welcome: Casual, but we suggest wearing your finest rodeo attire. Yes, bring the boots. Please note that there may be dirt and gravel at the rodeo grounds. Wedding: Black tie or formal preferred. Yes, we will be on a ranch, but we would still like everyone to look their best. The ceremony and reception take place outside within one of the venue's grass pastures. We suggest thick soles or block heeled shoes. Exploring/Hiking: Please find time to explore the magical surroundings of Jackson Hole while you're here. Make sure to pack your hiking shoes, relaxed clothing, and your swim trunks (if you want to take a dip into Jenny Lake).
