We knew of each other since freshman year, but we officially met our senior year. While I was crossing in between classes, on the way to 2nd period, Travaughn was standing in what we called “the central”. He called me over and asks if he can get a hug, and of course, I gave him one. Then, he gave me his number. Although, I didn’t call him lol. That following day he asked for another hug and as we were letting go, he looked me in my eyes and said: “ you know I’ma make you my wife one day.” I blushed and laughed telling him “boy, yeah okay” and walked off to class. We didn’t see each other after that until we passed each other at prom, and again about two months after graduation. We became close friends and officially started dating on September 22, 2013. There it began, our love story that we’ll cherish until the very end <3

We went to bible study Wednesday, the day after my birthday. Most of our family was there to get the good word, or so I thought lol. To my surprise, the pastor says “ Travaughn has a testimony he would like to share. I was in total disbelief because Travaughn doesn’t like to talk around a lot of people who aren’t family. Next thing I know he’s crying and down on one knee asking “Will you marry me?” Of course, I SAID YES! Being engaged this past year and a half has been the best feeling ever! We’re so excited and very thankful for how blessed we have been; all thanks to God! Also, thank you for celebrating this special day with us, it means the world. We thank you in advance. 💋😌 C&T 💛
