Grab some coffee and a pastry (or two) at The Salty Donut, Panther Coffee, or The Bazaar Project.
Our favorite bagel spot is El Bagel, and Fuzzbee’s is great for açaí bowls and smoothies. Grab brunch at Chug’s Cafe, Greenstreet Cafe, or Sadelle’s. For dinner, we recommend Bayshore Club Bar & Grill, Bartaco, Like Mike Trattoria, LoKal, Ariete, and Los Felix. If you want to venture to other neighborhoods, here are some of our other favorite dinner spots: The Matador Room (we highly recommend making a reservation in advance and requesting a table outside), Joe’s Stone Crab, Tam Tam, Casa Tua, and Cecconi’s.
Our favorite spots to grab a drink are at Regatta Grove, Bayshore Club Bar & Grill, Sipsip Calypso Rum Bar (rooftop of Mayfair House Hotel & Gardens), Bellini (rooftop of Mr. C Miami), and Glass & Vine.
Our favorite dessert spots are Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop (best red velvet cake in our opinion) and Danielle Gelato.
As the oldest neighborhood in Miami, Coconut Grove is a great place to spend your day. Try one of the many restaurants, go shopping, or talk a walk/bike ride on the path along the water/marina and through Regatta Park. If you decide to extend your trip, Miami is filled with so many things to do aside from going to the beach (South Beach or Key Biscayne) and shopping in the Design District. Here are some places to checkout: Wynwood Walls, Rubell Museum, Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, and Pérez Art Museum.
