Tom and Alexis first laid eyes on each other at a Friendsgiving party in November of 2014. It was by complete chance that Alexis was there, and for only a few minutes. It wasn't until January of 2015 when Tom and Alexis met for the first time. After talking through Facebook and texting for about a month, Alexis's best friend hosted a dinner at her house and told Alexis to invite Tom. It was only a few days after that dinner that Tom and Alexis started seeing each other exclusively. On Valentine's Day in 2015 Tom took Alexis to Brio Tuscan Grill at the Country Club Plaza and ice skating at Crown Center, where Tom asked Alexis to be his girlfriend. Obviously, she said yes! And then a picture was taken to capture the moment (see below).
