It all started on Bumble back in March 2019 when Dalena and Ryan started talking about their mutual hatred of Russell Westbrook. Shortly after exchanging multiple messages, they planned their first two dates before even meeting. However, the first date almost didn't happen. They agreed to meet on St. Patrick's Day for drinks. The Friday before, Ryan said he was getting drinks with "someone" so Dalena made other plans with her friend Patrick. What Ryan meant was he was getting drinks with Dalena but she didn't get his joke. Luckily, they met up the next Sunday. It was the best first date despite there not being any Coors Light at the Westgate. They talked for hours and Dalena was shocked to learn Ryan has a large family he is close with. Ryan was shocked to learn that “someone” had a bigger family than him. This went much better than their second date at the Blazers game where Jusuf Nurkic broke his leg. This was the first of many Blazers games. The rest is history.

Dalena planned a wine tasting for her friend’s birthday. But when her friend couldn’t make it she subbed in her brother and cousins. They had a fantastic day filled with wine and were feelin’ fine. After revisiting all of the wine to her heart’s content, Ryan took everyone to their third and final spot. At Parret Mountain Cellars, Ryan had Marlene (the owner) bring out a special box on a charcuterie platter and popped the question in front of almost everyone. Phillip and Elvis were getting beer at the bar. She said yes and now you’re on this website.
