Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is about 35–45 miles from Camp Lucy and usually takes 45–60 minutes by car, depending on Austin traffic. Guests should allow extra time, especially around downtown/Oak Hill or during weekday rush hour. From AUS / Austin-Bergstrom Airport to Camp Lucy in Dripping Springs, the general route is: Take TX-71 West out of the airport toward Austin/Oak Hill. Continue west on TX-71, then take US-290 West toward Dripping Springs. Stay on US-290 W for a while, then turn toward Camp Lucy / Creek Road near Dripping Springs, following local signs or GPS for the final stretch.
