Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we would love to see your little ones, Secrets Maroma is an adult-only resort. Anyone under 18 will not be permitted on the resort. However, if you plan to bring your kids as part of your vacation there are several family friendly resorts nearby. Nickelodeon Hotel & Resort Riviera Maya looks like a blast!

What if I don't plan to stay at Secrets Maroma Resort?
Answer
If you have another location in mind that’s totally fine! There are plenty nearby resorts to choose from. To get entry to the wedding, Secrets Maroma offers day passes for purchase. Please indicate in your RSVP if you plan to stay elsewhere.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Welcome Event – Casual Ceremony and Reception: Beach Cocktail Attire. *Note: All wedding events will take place outside so please don’t forget to hydrate and wear sunscreen! We’ll have a space for you to ditch your shoes for the wedding ceremony!

Are there any colors you prefer me to wear?
Answer
Nope! Although, you may want to avoid sage/agave and shades of white of course (we’ll leave that to the bride 😊)

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
The wedding ceremony will be unplugged. We invite you to be fully present with us and keep all devices away during the ceremony. Have no worries, our photographer will capture every special moment of the ceremony for us to share with you! Photography is allowed during the cocktail hour and reception.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel?
Answer
Yes! For guests staying at Secrets Maroma, you will receive transportation to and from the resort. Your travel coordinator Sonia Estrada will work with you to arrange transportation.

How do I find the wedding ceremony location?
Answer
Head to the beach! Directional signage will be placed appropriately at the resort.

Is the resort wheelchair accessible?
Answer
Yes, the resort is wheelchair accessible and the Secrets Maroma staff will be available to assist with any needs during your stay.

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Your presence is gift enough. We can’t express enough how much we appreciate you for making the trip to celebrate with us. If you feel inclined to honor us with a gift, you can check out the registry tab and have it delivered to our home at 127. W. Euclid St, Detroit MI 48202. A card box will be at our reception.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
We will have plated dinner service with a set menu chosen by the bride and groom. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies please indicate them on your RSVP so the couple can relay them to the chef.
