Travel Note
From Los Angeles, it is about a 5 hour drive to Carmel-by-the-Sea. You can also fly into the nearest airport, which is the Monterey Airport (MRY). From LAX to MRY is a 1.5 hour flight. There are a variety of accommodations that you can book for your stay. I have listed a few below. You can also look into AirBnbs outside of downtown Carmel or in nearby Pacific Grove or Monterey.
