Chris and Tran met the way most people do. Through the internet! Tran always spins a crazy tale how Chris ghosted her after the first time they spoke, but the reality was that Chris went on vacation to California and anyone who knows Chris knows that he enjoys when gets to unplug. When Chris came back, he thought Tran was pretty cool and asked her on a date. It was well planned, starting at a bar and heading to play shuffleboard. But plans don't go as planned. At the end, they talked for hours on end about anything and everything. That was the moment where they both knew something was special. What really sealed the deal was when Chris went to visit Tran's apartment and met the cutest cat in the world, Baka. That was when Chris knew that Tran was the one. (He was really in it for the cat.) They both announced that they love each other on New Years Eve of 2019. And then COVID happened. (I know, sucks right?) But it only brought Chris and Tran closer. What turned to a long week sleepover turned into a 10 month move in. (At this point, not even COVID could separate them.) During COVID, Chris and Tran added a new family member, Demeter, Demi for short. Now they have a wonderful family of four. Their Manhattan apartment was not going to fit all the love this family had. Chris and Tran decided to purchase their first home in 2020. They have a happy family, a beautiful place to live. But now... "Where is my ringuuu???" Tran would always demand. And Chris, being the problem solver that he was, brought a ring and hid it in the safest place in the world: Under their bed.
