We met on Bumble, an app where you swipe "right" for people you think are "right" for you. Elizabeth wooed me with dazzling stories of her ice skating career, only to quickly learn I had trained for most of my childhood as a figure skater! Sparks flew immediately on our first date when we met at Braindead Brewing Co in Deep Ellum, Dallas. We talked about her love of Christmas, my (un)inspiring rap career, were serenaded over margaritas, and the rest is history! - Paul

Crested Butte is a magical little town with fairy dust that makes everything better. I've spent almost every Christmas in CB, so it's the place on earth that warms me most when I think about gathering with family and close friends. For me, Crested Butte is where we put our hectic lives aside to be together, to be vulnerable, to celebrate the past, to enjoy nature and company, and to dream about the future. Being a self-proclaimed Colorado native, Paul has fit right in with my love for this town and it has become a sacred place for us. We know that the travel is not easy and are so appreciative that you would even consider joining us this August!
