Tralisa: I saw Chris (Two) before I knew who he was! I believe it was my freshman year. I will never forget seeing him with his friend Jay walking through campus in this very loud yellow and purple Lakers outfit. I remember thinking "those outfits are loud" lol One day, we were passing one another between Burleson and the SUB, and I met the true "Two". It was a quick but long-lasting impression. Sophomore year came around and he began to ask about me through a couple of my best friends. Megan would regularly tell me, "Two asked about you again" or "Two asked when are you going to let him take you out?" to which I would respond "He can ask me himself!" Well that day came, we met outside a campus restaurant one day and before leaving, he told me there was something he wanted me to watch. He gave me a DVD and unbeknownst to me, it was him preaching at his church, GECOP. I watched with my then roommate and called him immediately afterwards. I shared my thoughts, (it was good!) and from that moment, a friendship began to blossom. We quickly realized how much we had in common and how much we enjoyed the others company. Back then, I worked at Blockbuster Video and we would spend most of our time having movie competitions (that I still lose smh), doing Spanish homework (mostly me lol) and grabbing food at the campus Chili's or Taco Cabana. It is beautiful to look back and see how so many of the things we connected over back then are still things we love doing together now. Christopher: 2008 I met the “legend” of Tralisa before I actually met her. All I kept hearing was that there was this super stacked “church girl” freshman that everybody liked but couldn’t have. Me being the “church boy” in hiding that I was at the time…..challenge was accepted and the chase was on. I saw her one day outside the student center in a pair of white pants that I will never forget LOL. I set my first trap at her first job, Blockbuster movie store. Long nights of pretending to be interested in her awful movie choices, I persevered to get as much time as I could outside of our class schedules. Deep conversations and time spent turned into me remembering who I was and what I was called to do. From that moment on all she does is make my life better DAILY. We fell in love in Blockbuster and stamped it at Chilis our favorite college date spot. Til’ this day even with the various roles and routines that we have, we still find time to “stick to our script”. I hope this movie NEVER ENDS! #BAYLOR&BEYOND
