FAQs

Question

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30 PM, so we suggest you arrive by 4:00 PM to give yourself some time to park and find a good spot to sit.

Question

Can I take pictures or use my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

We would like you to keep your devices on silent mode during the ceremony. We’ve got a professional photographer on hand to capture all the special moments, so you can fully enjoy the event without distractions. And we ask that all the photos taken that evening stay off social media until we’ve shared them ourselves. We’d love to see them all!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you wear what we're calling "garden formal." This means, light, airy materials and colors. Think Sunday best, but a step up. We do ask, please shy away from denim.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children at our wedding so that all attendees can relax and enjoy the celebration. Thank you for your understanding and for making advance arrangements.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available for both the ceremony and reception spaces. However, parking at the reception is limited. We ask that people carpool between the ceremony and reception if possible. The reception space is an easy 5 minute drive from the ceremony space.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or my children?

Answer

Please refrain from bringing plus ones unless they are included on your invitation. This also applies to children. We have decided to have a child-free wedding. Please do not bring your children unless they are listed on your invitation.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There is a large event going on adjacent to the reception space. Please follow signage for the Dogwood center.
