Fran's mother's AC went out and needed emergency service. Trae, being the handyman he is, was able to assist. They sat outside talking for about 3 hours, sharing similar stories. Trae and Fran started talking/texting every day and making plans to hang out with their kids. The first official hangout was on July 3rd, 2021 to celebrate Independence Day.

On the 2-year anniversary, Trae planned a day date at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens. He secretly invited her mother, stepfather, sister and their kids. As they walked out to the stone steps on the water, Trae hugged Fran, said I love you and got down on one knee. He hired a photographer to capture the whole thing and once Fran said yes, her family jumped out from their hiding places and cheered in celebration. Best.Day.Ever!!!
