Question
What will we be doing at the Villa?
Answer
Tentative schedule: Wednesday check-in (around 4-5pm) Thursday morning will be open for whatever you want to do, Britt and I may go to a winery local to the area. Thursday evening around 4pm the Welcome Event, Pizza Party, will start. Friday is an open day - if you want to visit neighboring cities like Pisa or Florence, this would be a great day. Britt and I will likely go into Florence for Britt's haircut and over to Pisa to see the coast line. Saturday is wedding day the morning should be quite slow and relaxed! Britt would like to hangout with all the men for the day and the ladies will be with Trae and then getting ready themselves. If you want to go out for the day, please feel no obligation to stay at the villa. Sunday will be a relaxed day, Britt and I will likely be hanging out by the pool but this is also a great tourism day. Monday is checkout day from the villa, for those still around, we will need to leave by 11am. The villa has a pool (pending weather), tennis, ping pong, and potentially bocce ball. If you have not already, please let us know your arrival and departures into the area and to/from the villa.

The welcome event and wedding will be located outside at the villa. The welcome event will be casual and the wedding will be dressy casual.

Where should we fly into?
Answer
We recommend Florence or Pisa airport. The villa is located one hour outside of Florence and 45 minutes from the Florence Airport. It is also about an hour from the Pisa airport so either is an option.

How do I get around in Italy?
Answer
We are researching transportation. If you plan on exploring on your own we recommend renting a vehicle (the travel tab has a small discount code for Avis or Budget). The villa is located on a dirt road so keep that in mind when choosing your car. For those that intend on spending most of the time at the villa or would look to share a car with someone, we can help arrange some groupings. Let us know if you are interested.

What is the weather like?
Answer
April in Tuscany is mild during the day and cooler in the evenings. There may be a chance of rain during the stay.

What should I pack?
Answer
We recommend light layers, comfortable shoes for walking on cobblestones, and dressy attire for wedding events. There is a pool at the villa but usage will depend on the weather. You will need a power converter to plug in any of your devices, these are widely available on Amazon.

Is there food at the villa?
Answer
The hosts have a restaurant at the villa. They have provided some breakfast and dinner menus that will be available when we arrive. We are working with the host to coordinate meals and make sure the guests have some options for purchase but we are working the details so be patient with us. Each apartment will have a kitchen so if you want to being some snacks, you will have space to store them.
