To meet someone "organically" is quite impossible nowadays so the next best way to meet someone is through a dating app...SURPRISE! For us, that app was Plenty of Fish (POF). Obviously, dating is not easy and it definitely didn't come easy for us. We've both experienced horrible dates before we met one another. Right off the bat, we were quite comfortable with one another and our sense of humor was so in sync...it's insane! Growing up, we all have a list of what we want to look for in our significant other and boy oh boy, boxes were being ticked off every single time we're together...it just felt so right! We went on 4 dates and Tao was in L-O-V-E. He asked to be exclusive! Chemistry and sparks were going off so Tracy said "yes!".
After she said "yes!" on 1/9/16...little did she know that "yes" was for life. On our 4th year anniversary, Tao BENT the knee! Tao asked the most important question of his life, he asked "will you...". Tracy responded to the most important question of her life with "YASSS!". We're going to save the cheesy details to ourselves but it was a perfect proposal.
To start off...WE'RE NOT PREGOS...yet! We've been planning for the wedding before the engagement (very backwards but we ready!) Tao wanted the engagement to be special and meaningful so we waited for the engagement to take place before we announce our wedding plans. It may seem rushed and there's a reason why. "520, when pronounced in Chinese (wǔ'èrlíng), sounds similar to the homophonic phrase 'I love you', or wǒ ài nǐ. Therefore, the number 520, 五二零, represents 我爱你. May 20th, written with numbers as 5.20, is an extremely meaningful day when people across China celebrate love and express their love!" BAM! CUTE A-F!
