On paper, yes; we eloped in a COVID-safe tiny ceremony on our original wedding date, Sept 5, 2020, at Alta Plaza Park in SF! We saved literally everything else about our wedding for this year, Sept 4, 2021. Zola won't let us hyperlink, but copy/paste this link to check out our Elopement Video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hmATcTqMpI

Garden party attire, please. It's going to be warm during the day, but will cool down at night, so prepare for that. No shorts or flip flops. Whatever you do, please don't show up in your favorite wedding dress.
While we are no weather experts (can anyone really be a weather expert?), we went ahead and googled that same question and it told us this. "The average high is about the same as August, around 77 degrees. Average lows are still about 66 or 67 degrees. Most days are sunny, warm, and temperate, with a nice coastal breeze that cools things down. Ocean temperatures are typically the warmest during this month."
We'll be monitoring local guidelines closely, but all signs point to San Diego allowing our wedding as planned. CDC-recommended masking guidelines at the time of the reception will apply, and almost all festivities will be taking place outdoors, other then a few accessible lounge areas inside the Darlington House. For safety's sake, we'd deeply appreciate guests notifying us if you'll be vaccinated at the time of the wedding, and if you will not be, please notify us of a negative COVID-19 test in the same time frame. We love you all and want to keep our people safe, healthy, and happy!
Sorry, adults only ceremony and reception, other than the kiddos in the wedding party.
Well, this is awkward. If you didn't get invited to it yet... we're not having one! Yeah, that's the ticket!
