So here is a little bit of Scott and I story. We have actually been friends and known each other for almost 14 years. It all started when our daughters did competition dance together. We were both in different relationships and not looking for anything. We did however become friends over the years and spoke and was always at some event together with the girls. Years after our girls were grown and out of dance, we were only connected through facebook, we both found ourselves in a place of loneliness. Neither of us was looking for anything, as we had both decided to surrender our lives to God and wait on his best for us each. We had tried our way and failed so God was our only hope. We both had prayed for what we have found in one another. Little did we know that God would reconnect us during this time. We consulted with God and waited on his time and his direction. Over time we started talking and hanging out. Our dates were going to church together and growing in God as well as with each other. God was definitely doing things in both of our lives that we could have only dreamed of. He was building a strong Godly relationship for us that we had always longed for. Once we gave everything to God and trusted him, he gave us everything we needed and had always wanted. We will forever be grateful for his blessings in our lives and will always make God the center of ours. Our marriage will be built on God, he will always be the center of everything we do. God will always be the center of our own lives and also the center of our marriage. He is our hope, without God we are nothing and we have nothing.
