We’re getting married!

We first knew of each other at Gisler Junior High School in the 8th grade. We started dating during baseball season of our junior year at Edison High School in 1980. We attended Homecoming and Prom in our senior year. There was a lot of baseball during this time! We were each other’s first love❤️ We went our separate ways in 1983 when Rich went to Fresno State to play baseball and I cheered at Golden West and soon after joined the Marine Corps. In total, we’ve known each other for 40 years! And, so it goes, we each had a family, careers, and, oftentimes a lot of distance from each other. We remained friends and did our best to stay in touch, reaching out on birthdays and holidays. Everything changed on 12/31/2018 when Rich called to tell me we should spend the rest of our lives together! Of course, I agreed!! We bought our first house together in Biloxi Beach, MS in May of this year and have quickly turned it into our home. Rich proposed to me at Front Street Beach in Ocean Springs, MS, on August 10, 2020 (on my dad’s 82nd birthday) with our dog in tow! We are looking forward to getting married with several Edison alum guests and, Randy Ponder, will be performing our nuptials.
