Tammy is my wonderful sister who has been with me through it all. I have always loved hanging out with my amazing big sister! As she is 15 years older than me, I am grateful to share a deep friendship with her now that we are both adults. Especially after loosing our mom 4 years ago, we have loved and supported each other through all of life’s ups and downs. She is the strongest woman I know who continues to have the most loving heart. Between teaching, having 3 boys, and battling leukemia in her 30s, she’s seen it all and has amazed those around her with her continued strength, faith, joy, and compassion. I am so blessed to have her walking me down the aisle and standing beside me as Matron of Honor as I marry the love of my life! ❤️

Faye is my awesome, almost sister-in-law. On my first date with Max, we found out that Faye and I both live on the same street in Bloomingdale! It has been an absolute joy for us to frequently share moments with Faye, Alé, and Fabián. I am especially grateful to have built a wonderful friendship with my new sister (-in-law). Since my sister Tammy is a decade and a half older than me, it has been a novel experience to share a sister-like relationship with someone my age. And, boy, did I luck out with that! Faye is one of the kindest humans you’ll ever meet - her strength and wisdom is admirable, and her sweet and funny personality lights up those around her. I look forward to building on our strong friendship and sharing a lifetime of moments as family. 💕

Claire is my other awesome (almost) sister-in-law, and I cannot wait to continue getting to know her over the years. We love visiting Claire and Joel in Salem, Massachusetts, and spending time with them when they visit us! Claire is a sassy, smart, funny, and confident lady, and a good friend to have in your corner. She, like all of the Wassinger crew, has welcomed me to the family so kindly from the start. I’m so glad this wedding brings us together as family, and I look forward to more moments and continued friendship with my new sister (-in-law)!

We’ve been good friends since our Women’s Chorus days at Elmhurst College, and we’ve become even closer as we are enjoying life with our guys and adulting. 😂 It has been a blast to share our engagement era and wedding planning moments as well - I couldn’t ask for a better friend to go with through life’s adventures! Shannon’s fun and confident personality is complimented by her nurturing, kind nature. I am grateful that we can talk about anything - we discuss the tough moments and give support, crack each other up, and can be our hilarious selves together in the fun moments. I can’t wait for all the future moments…this wedding, her wedding, the good and tough times, and singing along to all of Wicked in November together! 😂😁💕
