We met several years ago through our best friend Samuel. We saw each other during events Samuel had and were Facebook friends. Mark was married and I was "dating". Fast forward several years and Mark had been through a divorce, since Mark's divorce Samuel was always in both of our ears that we should date. One day Mark messaged me on Facebook and said "I see you have been reading Girl on a Train do you want to see the movie with me?" (Smooth Mark) Our first date was October 14, 2016 and we have been together ever since. On 11/01/2022 while in Hawaii for my 50th birthday Mark proposed to me under a waterfall in Kauai. Such an amazing place for a proposal, this was not his first choice but it was perfect. I can't wait to marry this wonderful man.
