Their Beginning... Alliance Theological Seminary

Obedience Brings Blessings

Tracy and Kevin first met in 2010 at Alliance Theological Seminary's student orientation. As Kevin vividly remembers, Tracy was the first person to introduce herself at orientation. During their first semester they had their one and only class together, Reading the Old Testament, taught by Dr. Delafayette Awkward. Little did they know Dr. Awkward (alongside Dr. Bishop Austin-Lucas) would be the officiant of their wedding years later.

The Engagement

The Big Surprise at the Ranch

Tracy and Kevin waited on the Lord in every area of their lives, especially when it came to love, and they were not disappointed. On February 25th Kevin gathered Tracy’s family and friends as well as his own after receiving blessings of marriage from Tracy’s dads, mother and grandmother. Kevin asked Tracy on a date to Fox Hill Farm in Pleasantville, NY under the guise of a photo shoot while receiving horse riding lessons. Good friend and mentor to Kevin, Albert Areizaga, took photos of them riding their horses. In the middle of the “photo shoot”, Kevin came down from his horse, Sky, while Tracy remained on her horse, Spirit. With Tracy sitting atop her horse, her confusion soon turned to shock and then realization when both of their families and friends burst into the ranch laughing, cheering and recording what was about to take place. As Tracy sat on Spirit crying tears of joyful surprise, Kevin drew her engagement ring from his breast pocket and asked for her hand in marriage. When it was time for Kevin to propose, there was no fear because Kevin always believed in God’s timing and when the question was asked, Tracy answered yes without hesitation because she knew God had sent the man she had always been waiting for. For those who find love in God, time is never too slow, too fast, too long or too short. For those who find love in God, time is just right.

A Message From Tracy

God Kept His Promise

In 2008 God spoke this word to me, "Spend some time single and wait for the husband that I will give to you!" I did not know how long it would take! I had no idea what it would be like, but I am so glad I obeyed! After eight years of singleness my husband has found his wife just as God promised! I have wished for and wondered if there was a man fit for me! I have received the wish and wonder no more. Kevin is truly the man that God has designed for me! He is loving, kind, sweet, compassionate, knowledgeable, artistic, funny, playful, intelligent, spontaneous, handsome and most of all, he loves God! We have been together for almost two years buidling our relationship, understanding one another, supporting each other in difficult times and praying about what God would have us do together for his glory! It gives me immense joy that I did not need to settle for someone who I knew was not God's best for me! I waited and God delivered on his promise. I thank all of you who have supported us, prayed for us, and counseled us through our journey together! I am looking forward to spending our special day with you all! I am patiently and enthusiastically waiting to be married to my King (The Artist), Kevin Bollers! I am indeed a BLESSED woman! See you soon! The future Mrs. Bollers

A Message From Kevin

God Used My Gift to Help Me Find My Wife

I have always said that Tracy was the first person I met when I began a new phase in life with God. When I started seminary eight years ago, Tracy was the first person to introduce her self at orientation. During the next few years, Tracy and I would remain good friends, always having a smile and a kind word when we ran into one another; we even prayed with one another. I always valued her as someone who was compassionate and faithful in tough times and this was no more evident than after I graduated from seminary in 2014. It was difficult finding employment and I was on hard times financially, but whenever I spoke to Tracy, she always had a kind and uplifting word and she would always pray. Every time I prayed with Tracy, life felt a little better. I’ve been a photographer for nine years and I used it as a supplement to pay the bills and Tracy even showed her support for me by putting me in touch with her close friend, Iana, to do her wedding shower. Things eventually got better for me financially. I went from having no job to having several by the next year and by 2016, I was doing pretty well financially. Around this time, Tracy was also ready to graduate seminary. I never forgot Tracy and her kindness to me as a friend. I felt that God was speaking to me to bless Tracy with a photo shoot as a graduation gift. I called Tracy up, and told her that I wanted to bless her with a photo shoot and she was elated. Weeks later we did our shoot in Prospect Park. After the shoot, we just spent the rest of the day, hanging out, laughing, talking and catching up. Little did I know that this shoot would be the spark that God would use to take our friendship to another level. I thank God for blessing me with Tracy. All the years of friendship and we never knew God was building a foundation. We always say that God was the one who hooked us up and I’m so happy that I was obedient to His leading to bless Tracy with a photo shoot. God used my gift to help me find my wife.
