What should I wear?

Embrace the spirit of Middle-earth at this enchanting wedding celebration. For the ladies, we recommend dresses in springtime hues paired with closed-toe shoes, ideal for the outdoor setting. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear slacks, a vest, and a button-up shirt of their choosing to complement the event's magical atmosphere.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes, kids are welcome and we would love to celebrate with everyone! However, we do want people to know that our wedding will be help on a ranch with a pond where we will have large yard games to play and fishing poles by the pond to use before it gets dark. There will also be alcoholic drinks and many different genres of music played, so we do want to caution that kids are welcome to attend, but there will be NO child care on site.

Where is the wedding at?

Our ceremony and reception will be held at North Star - Socha family Ranch.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We ask that guests wear nice jeans and a button up or a dress. Our wedding will be held out doors and there will be dirt and grass, so closed toed shoes are advised.

Will there be lots of walking?
Answer
The longest distance you will need to walk is from the parking area to the ceremony, which are in site of each other. We will have transportation for those that request it.

How do I get to the Venue?
Answer
The Ceremony and Reception will be held at the same place, North Star, the Socha Family Farm. Directions: Head to 2375 E Austin St, Giddings, TX 78942 Once there, instead of pulling into everyone's favorite stop, turn off of 290 and on to Cr 133 so that Buccee's is on your left. You will head down CR 133 till you reach a sign to turn in for the weeding. The road will have a right turn in it then a left.
