we're getting married!

Our story goes - Gio and I met roughly 10 years ago at our retail job in the mall. Our first impressions were vastly different from one another... I remembered him to be so standoffish, mysterious, and overly confident, so I OBVIOUSLY had to break him out of his shell and become friends with him!! His first impression of me was, "she's Asian," and that's about it lol Because both of our jobs and work schedules were so similar/worked hand in hand, couple that with us also attending college together and over time, we built a friendship that was rooted in teamwork, support, and companionship. We both would come to realize that our friendship was one of the more consistent things in our lives at the time. Teen angst, college exams, car troubles and student loans were some of the issues we'd bond over, but that also came with some amazing memories as we continued to explore our friendship! Whether it be discovering new restaurants in Houston/introducing our favorite spots to one another, having debates over whether Drake made good music as we drove around town to seek out the best skyline views, all the way to attending concerts and exploring museums together, we always had the best time in each other's company. And through these experiences together, what was initially pure friendship became something more, and we never looked back since! Gio packed his bags and followed me 3 weeks after I moved to Austin for a job opportunity, and one of our first dates was at the famous Zilker Park here in the heart of Austin. And after 7 years, 2 dogs, and countless more memories, moves, and vacations together, Gio would then take me (and the dogs!!) back to Zilker Park and ask me to be his wife :) We are so excited to be getting married right across from Zilker Park at the UMLAUF Museum, and cannot wait to celebrate with all of you!
