In mid-January of 2022, Tracy was celebrating Founders' Day with one of her sorority sisters who made a post on Facebook of the festive and fabulous event! Floyd and Tracy's Soror, Lisa, were Facebook friends. He noticed their photo and sent a direct message inquiring about Tracy. Lisa made the introduction between the two via Facebook Messenger and they exchanged phone numbers. The dialogue continued from there. Tracy and Floyd went out for their first two dates within a week, and they made an instant connection, and it has been ongoing ever since then. XOXO

On Thanksgiving of 2023, he played the song I'm Gonna Make You My Wife (by The Whispers) and she had an emotional response. He told her, "The next time I play that song, it will be our special day." Floyd surprised Tracy with a proposal on Saturday, December 9, 2023. They were headed out for a date night. When they arrived and kept walking past the bar for appetizers and drinks, she knew something was different. Then she realized the song was playing as he escorted her to a room of 40 of their family and friends.
