We're Getting Married

Approximately 25 years ago, we met as DeVry students and became really good friends. Unbeknown to him, I had the biggest crush on him. Fate had other plans for us. Our lives went in different directions. He married. I remained single. Who would have known, years later, a simple Facebook message from him would bring us together. He was widowed for four years. I was still single. He is my Twin Flame.

From the beginning, we just knew that we were destined to spend the rest of eternity with one another. He is my best friend and confidant. The Keeper of my heart. I asked him if September 20th, 2023 would work for a wedding date and he said Yes! Little did I know, that date would not be available at the venue that we chose. We agreed on September 21st, 2023.

Who would have thought...for my birthday, we went to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. During the sky walk, Hubby decided to make it "official". It was the Best Birthday Ever :-)

While a student and a tutor in the computer lab at DeVry in New Jersey, I remember the day I first met Tracy, she had the most beautiful smile and eyes that glistened and seemed to talk to you, as well as a pleasant personality. She was Beautiful (and still is), she was the apple of all the guys eyes. She came to the computer lab to apply for a position also as a tutor. Thinking she had eyes for the other guys in school I dismissed the thought of us getting together, so instead we become great friends (and co-workers). We enjoyed each other’s company and would talk for hours while we worked. I graduated and went to the DeVry in Addison, Illinois to complete my Bachelor’s degree all the while we stayed in contact, again talking for hours on the phone. I was recruited by Caterpiilar and relocated to Peoria, IL and eventually got married to another still staying in contact with each for years. Then suddenly we lost contact with each other. Years later after my wife had passed I decided to check on my friend to see how her and her family were doing (I assumed she had gotten married and her and her husband were raising their family together, she told me she hadn’t gotten married) . Low and behold we started talking like we hadn’t missed any time at all. It was then that she revealed she had always had a crush on me and didn’t want to let me get away again. Being alone and single, I had been praying for a mate that I could love unconditionally and who would love me the same, the Creator answered my prayer. After dating for nearly a year , I knew she was my mate that I asked the Creator for…we had been discussing getting married, so on December 1, 2022 while on a trip to Las Vegas we went to the Grand Canyon and on the Skywalk I made it official, I asked her to marry me …she said “Yes!!!”
