NEW RECEPTION DATE

A PANDEMIC WEDDING

HAVING TO POSTPONE THEIR DREAM

With health & safety being their top priority; they made the difficult decision, along with many other couples last year to postpone their large ceremony and reception. Now, that new date June 19th is almost here! They did actually tie the knot in a private ceremony with their immediate family and wedding party only, due to social distancing guidelines. So, this upcoming event will be larger; a ceremony recap/vow renewal and formal reception immediately following. New invitations were sent out, please ignore the RSVP date and just get them back ASAP! As always, during this ongoing crisis, they are prepared for further derailments but hoping for the best! They wish you & your loved ones all the best & look forward to celebrating with you!

Their Story

January 2015 to present day

Though they had both known of each other, they were formally introduced by a mutual friend Rick, in January 2015. No one remembers exact time or place, but it is safe to say it was either Nick's or the farm. An early significant memory of hers is a snowmobile ride at the farm, and an early significant memory of his is that spring when she hosted his birthday party at her apartment. They began to see each other in a new light. She was unique; outgoing and fun and very independent. He loved watching her with her boys, her cooking and her hosting. He was pleasantly old fashioned; hardworking and driven. Reliable, honest and eager to learn new things and be apart of her and her children's lives. That summer, at a party at Cipriano's he made a bold move and stole the first kiss. A few hang outs and motorcycle rides later, Tyler asked Jess to be his girlfriend. He also said I love you first. That Christmas, Jess and the boys gifted Tyler a drawer, a gesture asking him to move into their apartment. In April 2017, they bought their own home, and have been fixing it up ever since. They're so excited to share it with you all as their venue for their wedding, so you can enjoy it with them and see its progress. Thousands of memories, many adventures, several countries, and over five years later, they became husband and wife. A small private ceremony was not on their agenda, but this pandemic forced alternative plans. They look so forward to their postponed large ceremony/vow renewal and reception with everyone! It will be a dream come true!

The Proposal

April 4, 2019

Tyler and Jess were vacationing in Bermuda with Jess’s mother Sue, Wyatt and Sawyer. Dressed in matching shirts to the boys, Tyler suggested taking a family photo on the beach for his mother. Everyone got down to the water, Sue took out her phone to snap the picture and Tyler asked her to start recording. She hesitated and asked why, to which he responded please just do it. She said ok, recording... he took a step and knelt down with a ring from his pocket! Jess was very suprised, and she of course said YES! The boys were smiling, and the best part, Tyler had asked Wyatt! Then they went to an amazing dinner, where there was a toast and dancing!
