FAQs

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held on-site at the Antebellum at New Kent.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What time should I get there?

Answer

Our ceremony is starting promptly at 3:30 in the afternoon. We recommend all guests are in their seats by 3:20 to ensure the processional starts on time.

Question

What if i don't RSVP in time?

Answer

We kindly request that you RSVP by August 15th. If you are unable to attend, we will miss celebrating with you! We need to provide our venders with exact numbers by a certain date, so please don't RSVP late!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day. We are requesting cocktail attire (semi-formal) for the evening. We ask to avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love our little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adult-only event with the exception of those little ones in our immediate family and wedding party. We hope you understand & enjoy the night off as we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, which means we kindly ask that you put away your phones and cameras and be fully present with us. Don’t worry, our photographer will capture everything, and we’ll share photos afterward!
