The wedding will take place at the Ritz-Carlton. However, there are technically 3 hotels on the "Grande Lakes" property: the Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, and Marriott Lakeshore Reserve. The Ritz and JW are connected by indoor and outdoor walkways. The Marriott Lakeshore Reserve is not physically connected, but it is fully on property and a short walk to the wedding events!
The map above provides somewhat of an overview of the property! There are a number of activities on property: golf, spa, jogging trails, waterpark, eco-tours, fishing excursions, falconry experiences, tennis, bocce ball, pickle ball, and more. There is even a "Ritz kids" room where guests can visit exotic animals! The property also boasts a number of restaurants, from fancy to quick bites: Knife & Spoon (just awarded a Michelin star), Highball & Harvest (great brunch buffet and burgers), Lobby Lounge (largely seafood), First Drop (coffee, sandwiches, smoothies, and the best cookie dough), Bleu Pool Bar (at the Ritz's main pool), Knife Burger (at the JW's main pool), Vitale (healthy options at the spa), Fairways Pub (bar food at the golf club), Whisper Creek Kitchen, Starbucks (of course), and Primo (Italian and most importantly, the spot in which we celebrated our engagement).
If not staying on property, guests should valet (or be dropped off) at the Ritz-Carlton entrance. Tell valet you are going to the Pearson/Dvorak wedding, and you will get a reduced valet rate of $35.
The closest airport is Orlando International. The airport is only a 15-minute drive from the wedding venue!
It depends. Guests flying into town will need to use a rideshare service or rent a car to get to their respective hotels. However, if staying on/close to the wedding venue, renting a car should not be necessary. Ubers and Lyfts are easy to get!
Yes! Transportation will be provided from Grande Lakes to Isleworth for the rehearsal dinner.
We recommend arriving to the hotel around 4:15 PM to ensure enough time to park and walk to the ceremony location! If staying on property, heading to the lawn at 4:30 PM should provide plenty of time to get settled before the ceremony begins at 5. Then again, I am always late...
